Management of Programmes for Communicable Diseases Control

in Sub-Saharan Africa MPCDC 2010

The Ivo de Carneri Foundation, under the auspices of the Institute of Infectious and Tropical Diseases, University of Brescia – WHO Collaborating Center on the implementation of TB/HIV collaborative activities, has organized the 7th edition of the international training course “Management of Programmes for Communicable Diseases Control in Sub-Saharan Africa, MPCDC 2010”.
The course, addressed to 20 participants with scientific background, 10 from developing countries and 10 from developed countries, will be held at the Public Health Laboratory Ivo de Carneri on Pemba Island – Zanzibar (United Republic of Tanzania), between July 26th and August 6th, 2010.
Based on availability of sponsors, 5 scholarships might be offered for  partial coverage of expenses.

La Fondazione Ivo de Carneri, con il patrocinio dell’Istituto di Malattie Infettive e Tropicali,  Universitą di Brescia – WHO Collaborating Center on the implementation of TB/HIV collaborative activities, ha organizzato la 7° edizione del corso di formazione internazionale “Management of Programmes for Communicable Diseases Control in Sub-Saharan Africa, MPCDC 2010”. Il corso, che ammette un massimo di 20 partecipanti con background medico e para-medico, 10 provenienti da Paesi in Via di Sviluppo (PVS) e 10 da Paesi avanzati, si terrą presso il Laboratorio di Sanitą Pubblica Ivo de Carneri sull’isola di Pemba – Zanzibar (Repubblica Unita di Tanzania) dal 26 luglio al 6 agosto 2010. In base alla disponibilitą di sponsor, potrebbero essere offerte 5 borse di studio a copertura parziale dei costi.
